Monoceros[edit]

is monoceros a similar animal???

Monoceros and monocerus are just different spellings for the Greek word meaning "one-horn", i.e. unicorn. The constellation Monoceros is a unicorn. Some bestiaries treated Monoceros/us and unicorn as the same creature, others as different. Pfhreak (talk) 02:35, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
