Length of Article
[edit]At present, this article is very short, and has greater coverage in this article. I will wait until 00:00 (GMT) on the 16th of August 2009 for it to get longer. If it stays at its present length, I will consider nominating it for deletion.
- I've had an attempt at making this longer, justifiably! The previous article, which was gramatically perfect, was very hard reading. It also made some of the information less obvious and have attempted to break this up. A few more additions to make including some horrendous ambiguity over rules that I have not gotten to the bottom of Xenetrophia (talk) 17:27, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

Interesting to note: Although the notion of a color suite monopoly as a smaller signifier to a total monopoly is lost in this game, the game tries to draw this notion in with needing 2 colour suites for a Monopoly Tower. There seems to a be a concession to the some of the most popular house rules: Double salary on landing on go through the Stadiums in a way and; the 'rent dodge card' acting as the fines going into free parking. For both the Stadiums and the Monopoly Tower it makes the Brown and Purple properties the most lucrative to obtain quickly. The game tries to echo the mechanics of the traditional Monopoly building with the hotels through the skyscrapers. As a city board building game it has been likened to Sim City. [back-up] It is evident when development of the various elements are on the mappings, the view is seemingly of a city. Of a less note worthy item but that could become a cultural aspect to Monopoly City (if the game gets to anywhere near 15% penetration of Monopoly's share and mind share) is where the Monopoly Tower goes; since there is only one and only one player can claim ownership, when placed in the center and over the Monopoply City logo the city does look like it has reached its epicentre peak of development. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xenetrophia (talk • contribs) 23:18, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
