Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • Infobox looks good
  • "October 26, 2018 simultaneously" → "October 26, 2018, simultaneously"
  • Not sure if encore should be wikilinked
  • "prominently features Hanna belting" → "prominently features Hanna belting a line"
It is not solely a line, and I think this suffices for the lead.
  • Mention the lyrical theme
It is mentioned: "The lyrics of "Monster" explore the theme of losing friends and self-analysis"
  • "was uploaded onto" → "was uploaded to"
  • "the same day of the singles' digital release" → "the same day as the single's digital release"
  • "It features her" → "The video features her"
  • "hinting at her suicide" → "hinting at Hanna's suicide"
  • Remove wikilink to suicide as this is definitely overlinking
  • "experienced minor success" → "experienced minor success"
Where is the change??
  • "on Billboard's" → "on the Billboard"
  • "In early December 2018" → "In December 2018"
  • "There, she performed" → "During her interview, the singer performed"

Background and composition

[edit]
  • "released for digital download on" → "released for digital download in various countries on"
  • "song, featuring her" → "song, which includes her"
  • Should Carpool Karaoke be wikilinked actually?
Yes, indeed.
  • "that initially she had chosen" → "that she initially chose"
  • "During the lyrics, Hanna explores" → "Hanna uses the lyrics to explore"
  • Remove wikilink to imagery
  • "...that just doesn't work." remove speech marks as they are not needed since we know it's a quote from the style

Internet meme

[edit]
  • "sounded not meshed."" → "sounded not meshed"." consistency
  • Remove WikiLink to YouTube

Music video

[edit]
  • "was uploaded onto" → "was uploaded to"
  • "and was directed" → "which was directed"
  • "she takes out matches out" → "she takes matches out"
  • "as both make eye contact" → "as the two make eye contact"
  • "Hanna chases her" → "Hanna chases the girl"
  • "shots show the singer" → "shots show her"
  • "as well as her either" → "as well as either"
  • Remove wikilink on suicide, again

Track listing

[edit]
  • Good

Charts

[edit]
  • "Monster" Version → "Monster"

Release history

[edit]
  • Territory → Country
[edit]
  • Remove this

References

[edit]
  • Date formats need to be consistent
  • Cite various iTunes stores for refs 1 and 2 to verify that the releases were various
  • Ref 7 is unreliable per discussion; try to fix it with a reliable ref that reports the same content
The source may be unreliable, but we are not holding on to what's written there or something. The site shows the official video if Hanna giving the interview on the song, and this is definitely reliable.
  • Ref 8 shouldn't say Billboard in the title

Final comments and verdict

[edit]

Though Cartoon network freak has gone on holiday, I will leave this on hold still as it would be unfair to fail it when there's not major issues as the user announced their holiday after my review. --Kyle Peake (talk) 08:03, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
