Spanish placenames in Pacific Northwest

[edit]

The line regarding Spanish placenames in the Pacific Northwest being unknown is untrue, considering places such as San Juan Islands, Port Angeles, among many others. The Strait of Juan De Fuca? I could go on... Mattgrundy 01:10, 26 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Original year of platting

[edit]

The first line of the History segment currently reads "Montesano was first platted in 1738". I tagged this as dubious because the Washington coastline was not explored by Europeans at the time and there certainly were no overland expeditions at that time. Nevertheless there was a source listed, but it's a book which I do not have. 216.9.31.249 (talk) 05:03, 30 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Courthouse

[edit]

I spoke with one of the guards at the courthouse in 2018 and asked about the dent from a bullet by the front door. He said that it is no longer there because the first floor of the courthouse had be renovated a few year ago. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeff.jay.dahlin (talkcontribs) 19:19, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
