Sree everywhere[edit]

Hi

Not being too familiar with Indian honorifics, as far as I am aware "Mr Chaosdruid" would be "Sree Chaosdruid". If this is correct, there is no need to have all the Srees throughout the article.

Notice that other articles do not have "When Mr Obama", or "The paintings by Mr Rubens". Obviously any real requirement for them to be there would need explanation. Chaosdruid (talk) 16:58, 5 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

you are mostly correct; however, the Sree here is part of the regnal name. It is still unnecessary, however, as it would be like referring to King Charles as "King Charles" throughout a Wikipedia page on him. Indielov (talk) 08:35, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Pretender?[edit]

pretender /prɪˈtɛndə/ noun: a person who claims or aspires to a title or position. "the pretender to the throne" The subject of this article is not a pretender. As far as I know, Rama VI does not claim to be an actual king himself. How then can he be called a pretender? Indielov (talk) 08:29, 24 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
