Hello I am Rahul shivajirao lahane, Basacally i am from Jawkhed Ta Jafrabad Dist Jalna ( maharashtra). Our First surname was more,when we get gahagir of jawkhed & other 4 village. but when had war with british in Asai ta jafrabad Dist jalna. and we win that war,for that time change our surname lahene,this happen not more than last 3 generation.but i dont know how change our surname from lahene to lahane. for refrence ples read histoical book maharashtra paratyan, specialy jalna district. so i have request to you please add lahane( more) this surname in this colum. More Mahar clan[edit]

Read the source properly it is the Andhra Pradesh Government who took the Historian "Enthown's" paper to publish in government gazette's. Enthrown's paper talk about general Mahar caste not Andhra Pradesh Specific.

How Javali was important for King Shivaji ?[edit]

@Akshaypatill:, This article is linked as Chadrarao More in emperor Shivajis' article but here it's about More (clan), isn't it is misleading? More is a surname, how it can be a clan. Chandrarao More's More clan can be said as clan because they ruled Javali but not every More is linked to this clan. Why this article have thaught about different authors who commented about Javali is rightfully is of Shivaji or Chandrarao More's? More - succesors of mauryas[edit]

More's of Javali are the vansh of Mauryas. When Ashoka the great accepted Buddhism, some mauryas wanted to stay kshatriya. They shifted to Dakhan (Deccan) in Javli. Maurya gradually changed to More.
