one for the trivia section surely, the doctor in this episode who dies of a heart attack appeared to be the guy causing the time loop in window of opportunity.

He was the same guy. -- DiegoTehMexican 14:27, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

6 MORE GALAXIES?[edit]

Ok, this is news to me. How the heck do the Ori control 6 other galaxies not counting their own? How many galaxies do humans exist in? Or did they put humans who already believed in them in 6 other galaxies? This is getting weird. But that would explain how they already developed supergate technology but it seems they only want humans to worship them so that is kind of odd.

You are assuming that the ori just want human follwers, maybe there are other races. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 10:33, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, wasn't it indirectly stated that they want Human followers? They claim to have created Humanity much like the Ancients did with the Dakara device, although they probably just used their powers or something like that. How could they claim they made other races too? I'm sure they would lie about it but I thought they could only draw energy from humans and I assumed this is why the Unas weren't targeted.

--Faris b 20:22, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But do we even know if the Unas were/will be targetted? Anyway, they did have at least some interest in non-human followers - they got Nereus to work for them, after all. --Tim4christ17 22:39, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

But that doesn't exactly count. Nerus was a Goa'uld inside a human body. I think it doesn't matter what's in the body, just that it is a human is all.

Well, they haven't hinted at the Unas being targeted because the Unas run the Naqahdah mine on P3X-403 and the SGC would have had to deal with that unless they put an iris on the planet but there are Unas on other planets as well.

--Faris b 23:14, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, this argument looks academic. They just said 6 planets, not 6 galaxies in the episode. I'm guessing that the solicitation was wrong. -- DiegoTehMexican 01:03, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm watching the episode right now - they said six more planets. This Ori discussion is a good one, but perhaps it should go on the Ori (Stargate) page? --Tim4christ17 01:04, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I saw that. Blame the person who submitted the wrong text. I never thought that sounded realistic and how would they know even if they did? Ok but what is there to continue to talk about now?

--Faris b 14:33, 22 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can't believe someone confused planets with galaxies. The difference in scale is immense. Noneofyourbusiness 22:31, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

man, good episode.89.32.1.82 16:12, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know about that, but I'm the one who's sort-of redone this article, if you all don't mind. Of course, feel free to change whatever you find wrong, I guess its not like I have a choice. It was a very good episode. wiseman45 18:41, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PSP?[edit]

When Carter was scanning the cave wall where they found the secret passageway, it looked like she was scanning it with a PSP. Can anybody confirm this? 66.167.197.202 16:45, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I noticed that too. Here's a screencap. That looks more like a Palm Pilot on its side than a PSP, but it's really hard to tell. -- DiegoTehMexican 14:25, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, cool. Thanks for the cap. Yeah, it doesn't quite look like a PSP in that cap, though it's roughly the same shape. 66.167.197.202 22:02, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
