great American Inventors
[edit]This article was added becasue Morris Abrams was one of the great American Inventors. I am hoping that by allowing the article to wikipedia that we can learn more about Morris Abrams while people who knew him are still around to tell his story.
Thank you,

- Do you have any sources that you can add to the article that prove what you're saying? It's not that I don't believe you, or think that Morris Abrams is unimportant. It's just that Wikipedia is not a primary source, it is a secondary source. Any information that is added here needs to be accompanied by an outside source to provide verifiability. Please ask if you have any questions about how to do this. Keeper | 76 22:00, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hi. I came across this page in the uncategorized pages, but I added a reference from the New York Times. Honestly, I don't know if this is enough to establish notability. FlowerpotmaN·(t) 23:07, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- I saw the obit as well. Generally, obits don't translate to notability, merely existence. I've been searching for other sources. On the bright side, I've learned a lot about staplers while I search, which I guess counts for something... :-) Keeper | 76 23:11, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Where is WP:Stapler when you need them? Perhaps a merge to Arrow Fastener might be an option? FlowerpotmaN·(t) 23:19, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Major rewrite
[edit]I used seven new refs to rewrite this article. Even added an existing Commons image of an Arrow staple gun. It's suitable as a starting point for both an Abrams biography and an Arrow company history so I encourage any interested registered user to create Arrow Fastener and Arrow Fastener Co., Inc. as redirects to this article. 72.244.200.86 (talk) 03:01, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Removed the COI template
[edit]I eliminated WP:peacock terms and puffery and changed the article so substantially that I also removed the {{COI}}. 72.244.200.86 (talk) 03:10, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Split & Infobox Requirement
[edit]I've added a proposal to split this article as it has substantial information about a person and about a company which should have two seperate pages. As this is an article about a person, there is no requirement for a Company infobox, so that flag has been removed JonEastham (talk) 14:47, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
