Note to admins[edit]

Large portions of this article appear to have been directly lifted to compose versions of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Morrisburg Ontario which may be on its way to approval and ultimately find its destination under this name. History merges may be necessary.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 04:26, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

ignore that comment, i must have been flipping between tabs showing the same article page history and not one showing this page and one showing the AfC page. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 11:39, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
IN any case the histories have now been merged, so any content taken from one version for another is now properly attributed. DES (talk) 23:15, 8 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Call for citations - tag inappropriately placed[edit]

I believe the tag calling for citations which has been added to this article is incorrect.

  • Firstly, that tag is intended to be placed in a section of article text which lacks citations, not in the reference section, which contains no article content. Asking for citations to the reference section doesn't make sense.
  • Secondly, the sections which do have article content are all well cited and surpass WP:MINREF. The additional general references are acceptable under WP:GENREF. While an article can always be improved, I believe that this tag is intended to be placed on articles which do not meet minimum standards, and if an editor wants improvements above that, he/she should just go ahead and make the improvements instead of leaving tags. —Anne Delong (talk) 09:27, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
