Reminder to me: add information from new Soviet documents that Sneh was a Soviet "asset". Hot stuff. --Zerotalk 23:41, 13 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Etymology of Sneh's name

[edit]

I wonder if perhaps there is a place to add the etymology behind Hebraization of Sneh's name?

( The logic is that "Klaynbom" (in polish) literally means "small bush". In Hebrew, "Sneh" is an biblical and unused synonym for "small bush" very much known for its use in the bible verse of God's revelation to Prophet Moshe. Thus translating "Klaynbom" to "Sneh" winks at the biblical character rather than just being a dry translation of the name. )

If so, where should it appear? Gerbillus (talk) 17:21, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Without a reliable source that is not mere conjecture, there is no chance of including it. Zerotalk 02:19, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Imma find a source. I know Tsvi Inbari got it from an interview with him that was done in the 50s Gerbillus (talk) 17:36, 14 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
