Move discussion in progress[edit]

Physics[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Motion (physics) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 10:29, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Current "Procedures" section within the "Motion" Dab[edit]

A move discussion similar to those of that are announced by user:RMCD bot appears to be needed. The pages
1. Motion (democracy) (... a formal step to introduce a matter for consideration by a group...)
2. Motion (parliamentary procedure)
3. Motion (legal) (... a procedural device in law to bring a limited, contested matter before a court)
would be discussed; it may not (or p'haps may) be advantageous to produce one article that replaces all three, but I am about to outline what IM-tentative-O will prove to be among the most plausible of the (at least superficially) plausible low-redundancy consolidation/partition schemes for a two- or three- article suite. (I doubt I would be effective in helping shake out the overall revision/implementation, tho I'd be willing to take a shot at working, under one watchful eye, on one of two or three (presently hypothetical) articles that would implement re-partitioning.)
In anticipation of my general approach being possibly compatible with others who might keep the overall effort afloat even if I can't actually see my part thru, I embark now on trying to rough out a set of at least straw-man candidates as partitioning approaches.
