Disambiguation

[edit]

A far more important term also goes by the name "Motorboating", in which a person places his face between (preferably large) tits and imitates the sound of a motorboat, swaying his head back and forth. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.195.220.96 (talk) 16:24, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also may be used as the practice of travelling on a boat with a motor. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.68.149.245 (talk) 13:01, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In "The art of electronics" by Horowitz, motorboating refers to low frequency feedback. (as opposed to the usual equally unwanted high frequency feedback) The amplifying circuits slowly ramp the voltage up and down like the rocking of a motorboat on waves. It supposedly happened with old amplifier designs using vacuum tubes.

I agree with the first post. The term "Motorboating" is used more frequently to refer to the sexual act (or pre-sexual act) instead of some Radio Interference —Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.191.185.26 (talk) 19:13, 17 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
