Can someone talk about the Jim Denton skit in the commentary? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.26.61.55 (talk) 11:22, 13 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Initial comment

[edit]

Perhaps this episode is a reference to the Lovecraft story "At the Mountains of Madness" ? RasstheLenek 14:11, 30 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll do this one

[edit]

I think I'll make this article good, even though I'll probably fail, because it's one of my favourites that's left to make good.--Andy mci 19:53, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey don't worry, we'll fix up anything that isn't quite perfect, I'm sure you'll do a good job. Gran2 20:03, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm just gonna go and watch the commentary now--Andy mci 08:37, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Plot

[edit]

The old plot may have been preferable- see Template:Plot CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 23:59, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Copyedit and References

[edit]

I've gone through and copyedited to the standard of GA.

Could I have a reference for this?

The producers like this show as it starts exploring bonds between characters, such as Lenny and Carl, Homer and Mr. Burns, and Bart, Lisa and Smithers.

Also I don't know how to rephrase this intellectually.

Lastly the article needs expanding in all areas except the plot, with references if possible. The Cultural References section should not be in bullet points. The plot itself is of appropriate length and should not be expanded. See Cape Feare for an example of a FA Episode.

Good job so far. JameiLei 16:03, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This episode hasn't been worked on yet, but I'll do a production section eventually. -- Scorpion0422 17:18, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Failed "good article" nomination

[edit]

This article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of May 8, 2007, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Pass
2. Factually accurate?: Pass
3. Broad in coverage?: Pass
4. Neutral point of view?: Pass
5. Article stability? Pass
6. Images?: Pass Small image selection, they have fair use rationales and copyright tags.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be resubmitted for consideration. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to a GA review. Thank you for your work so far. — The Sunshine Man

I think you may have used the wrong template... Either way, thanks for passing it. -- Scorpion0422 16:30, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Question from a Brit

[edit]

Who, or what are the Bobsie (?) Twins? Martyn Smith (talk) 23:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Answer From A Yank

[edit]

The Bobbsey Twins were a series of Children's novels which, if memory serves had a mystery/detective theme not unlike the more well-known Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew novels. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.110.3.40 (talk) 07:37, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GA Sweeps (on hold)

[edit]

This article has been reviewed as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force in an effort to ensure all listed Good articles continue to meet the Good article criteria. In reviewing the article, I have found there are some issues that may need to be addressed.

  • It would be nice to be able to expand the reception section a bit more, as outside of that, there's not a strong demonstration of notability.

I will check back in no less than seven days. If progress is being made and issues are addressed, the article will remain listed as a Good article. Otherwise, it may be delisted (such a decision may be challenged through WP:GAR). If improved after it has been delisted, it may be nominated at WP:GAN. Feel free to drop a message on my talk page if you have any questions, and many thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this article thus far.
