British Organization[edit]

See history comments claiming organization was founded in New York. That does not mean it is not a British institution. This "History" comment stating it is "not British" remains unsupported in the article if the article is to continue to claim it is based in London and New York. London, yes certainly. New York, not obvious. If New York, why not Bangkok, the Asian leg of its activities? See future edits for elucidation and references.71.167.64.58 (talk) 11:05, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

We urge caution in ascribing a "nationality" to the Mountbatten Institute, founded in New York and operating from there as it's center, or nexus. The wrong assertion presented the wrong way by presumably objective contributors to this wikipedia page could invite unnecessary or erroneous overview and regulation of various government authorities or unwittingly taint the Mountbatten Institute's filings with various authorities to date. One can be formed and based in New York City, for example, and sponsored by a great and notable UK sponsor, but then what is the "nationality" of Mountbatten Institute? Let's find out what goes along with being ascribed a "British" or "American" organization before further descriptions are offered, however well meaning. Perhaps someone in authority at Mountbatten, who understands the educational, tax and other regulatory implications might like to comment here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.167.67.183 (talk) 13:41, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
