List of notable Alumni[edit]

I would agree that von Karajan is the best known and prestigious alumnus of this school and should be in the list of notable former students, but quite honestly, I don't think Inigo Pirfano belongs to the same league!! university name[edit]

On its English web site, the university uses two English names for itself:

Mozarteum University Salzburg
University Mozarteum Salzburg

It does not, however, call itself the Mozarteum University of Salzburg. I have therefore moved the article to Mozarteum University Salzburg. --K1812 (talk) 15:12, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do we have evidence when the institution started calling itself that name? ... and please add that to the article. Many people in history studied at the Mozarteum, period. According to a brochure about the university, available at [1], the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst Mozarteum (Mozarteum Hochschule of Music and Performing Art) became a university on Oct. 1, 1998. --K1812 (talk) 16:03, 10 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
