Self published source

[edit]

The article includes an unpublished book chapter by David Nash. This is self published on his university's webpage. Nash, as his CV on that site shows, is a long-established linguist and was co-author of a report on the Muckaty Land Claim. In this context, simple facts about Muckaty reported by him can be taken as reliably sourced. hamiltonstone (talk) 03:54, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Glen McLaren and William Cooper's history of the NT pastoral industry and Ted Ling's article on the 1930s inquiries have both been reviewed. Neither names Muckaty at all.hamiltonstone (talk) 03:00, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Map

[edit]

A map showing the location of this site would be very useful. Even latitude and longitude would be helpful. --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 14:52, 22 March 2010 (UTC) checkY done Hughesdarren (talk) 01:01, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The three images are seemingly the most boring possible. Is it possible to add more interesting ones? If it's quite barren and undeveloped then pictures of animals is an option. Oneplus1 (talk) 03:05, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So, Muckaty station is no longer being considered as a potential radioactive waste dump, and some of the traditional owners are suing the Northern Lands Council about it. I don't know how to best update this article and am interested in suggestions. Cheers Knittea (talk) 11:51, 9 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
