This article needs to explain what skills he had which compensated for his height. Osomec 04:53, 17 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Good observation. I added a short description of his game. It could be better, but that's a start. Also, the article didn't say he was a guard... ChaChaFut 03:57, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 15:56, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. Also, does anyone know his wingspan? Maybe that compensated for his height as well.

They had to get a trampoline out so Muggsy could dunk

[edit]

The slam dunk weekend footage is available. This article is a mess full of urban myths from people who never watched the guy play. There is no way ever that Muggsy could dunk please fix this up --60.231.43.87 (talk) 18:27, 29 July 2013 (UTC).[reply]

Error in statistics

[edit]

I found error in 1997-98 Regular season statistics. That row is mathematically impossible:

GP, Games played=2

PPG, Points per game=3.0

This means he has 6 points.

3P%, 3-point field goal percentage = - (this means no attempt)

FT%, Free throw percentage = 1.000 (this means he has at least one successful Free throw attempt)

FG%, Field goal percentage = .437 (this means he has at least one successful Field goal attempt)

Because he has only 6 points and he has successful Free throw (1point) and Field goal (2points) attempt too, there is only 2 scenario:

ScenarioA: 2x 2points + 2x 1point =6 points

Number of the attempts is Integer. If he has 4 attempts, then the Field goal percentage is .500 , If he has 5 attempts, then the Field goal percentage is .400 . -> In this case the Field goal percentage cannot be .437

ScenarioB: 1x 2points + 4x 1point =6 points

Number of the attempts is Integer. If he has 2 attempts, then the Field goal percentage is .500 , If he has 3 attempts, then the Field goal percentage is .333 . -> In this case the Field goal percentage cannot be .437

In both Scenarios, the given Field goal percentage is impossible based on the other data in the row. There is no more scenarios. This means that the data is incorrect. 91.82.31.134 (talk) 00:28, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Based on nba.com, ScenariA is happened with 5 attempts -> FG% = .400 in the Charlotte 1997-98 Regular Season row. Maybe the other data need to be crosscheck too. 91.82.31.134 (talk) 01:12, 28
