"... started the reform process, continued later by Adrian Năstase and Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu." - IMO arguable

[edit]

Adrian Năstase and Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu arguably didn't do significant reforms. During Adrian Năstase's term as prime minister corruption skyrocketed, anemic changes in the judicial system happened only under extreme pressure from the European Union, and were done in such a way that the judiciary remained highly ineffective. Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu achieved the undesirable performance of a commercial deficit of above 5% in a year with economic growth in excess of 8%, and hugely increased the number of employees in the state's central administration, while no significant legislative change happened during his term. Therefore I'd rephrase to something shorter, also more pertinent to the page's subject, which is Mugur Isărescu's biography: "... started the reform process in Romania." 79.114.90.115 (talk) 17:16, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
