No, his father died in 1967. This was the year Barkat Ali Khan Mukarram Jah became the 8th titular Nizam of Hyderabad or pretender. And where he is? Read the side and see the links, I would say. There you will get your answer. Demophon (talk) 03:42, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Popular story[edit]

There is also a popular story much known among the older hyderabadi generation which goes like Mukarram Jah had once slapped Rajiv Gandhi over a heated dispute, so the price slapped Rajiv gandhi, responding to which, gandhi threatened to get the prince killed once he becomes the minister.
