This is a request for advice. I am new to editing Wikipedia. On the MMN article, I would like to add an External Link to a support group forum: http://www.mmnforum.com/forum. This is a very rare disease and people afflicted with it feel alone and are hungry for more information. The first place many go to for info is Wikipedia. I feel it would be beneficial to provide a link to a dedicated site where they can interact with others similarly affected. As the admin of the forum in question, there might be a conflict of interest in me posting it, even though it is completely non-profit and there are no ads anywhere on the site. Thank you. Per WP:ELNO point 10, we don't link to discussion forums such as yours. - MrOllie (talk) 17:13, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I read that sometimes exceptions are made. In this case it would be of help to fellow MMN sufferers. But I understand the rules. Thank you for responding so quickly. Twitchyfirefly (talk) 04:31, 16 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I found a Reference for the Cause section last line: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9371910/ Maybe you like to include it in the article. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.144.57.130 (talk) 16:41, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
