[edit]At the moment, the provided information seems accurate and interesting but could be expanded significantly, although some of the sources are not easily accessible. In addition to explaining some of the more basic causes and who is at risk for this degenerative disorder, I would like to explore the known effects of mutations identified in the VCP gene. A lot of the citation for this wikipedia page look to be very strong, yet the article has fairly limited information. Lastly, their are a couple of genes in this article linked to other sources, yet are not associated with a wikipedia page.
