In Lyon and Marseille, people are less accustomed to the arrondissements, and they rather use the names of neighborhoods instead of the arrondissements.
I'm living in Lyon at the moment, and as far as I know, everyone refers to the arrondissements by number, and I don't think there are even names for the neighbourhoods. The 6ème is just the 6ème, for example. Vieux Lyon (5ème), la Croix Rousse (4e) and the Presqu'île (2e) would be the only exceptions I can think of. In case anyone was wondering why I made this change...--Stevage22:51, 24 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
