Removed Cleanup tags[edit]

I removed the Cleanup tags from this listing, which appeared only on the list for Michoacan state. Either the comments apply to all 31 lists of the municipalities in the states of Mexico, or to none of them. Look at List of Mexican municipalities, which aggregates all the listings on one page. Most of the lists are just 3 columns: INEGI code, municipality, and municipal seat; only a handful of the lists have additional columns for additional information such as population and development index.

As to the substance of the request, I don't see any reason that the Michoacan list needs cleanup to meet Wikipedia's quality standards; certainly not against the benchmark of the other 30 state lists. A comprehensive list of the municipalities of the state is inarguably notable, encyclopedic, and helpful. (If you feel that the article does need further cleanup, please be specific as to the problem you find with the current version.)

I therefore cleaned up the article by removing the request to clean up the article, since that seems to me to be its principal shortcoming.

Orphaned references in Municipalities of Michoacán[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Municipalities of Michoacán's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:26, 12 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
