Biographical details

[edit]

While it's unfortunately true that Miss DuFresne achieved more national notice from her murder than her professional life, this article reads more like it's about the murder itself rather than her biography. Without necessarily cutting the parts about her murder, is there someway the details of her life can be expanded and fleshed out? Her resume is still posted as a Word document on her Web site and lists numerous roles, as well as several awards from festivals in Seattle and British Columbia. I think these would be worth including, as well as any reviews of her work that may still be archived on the Web. And surely even the articles about her death include some early life info that could be plugged in to give a fuller picture of who she was.Terrapin7 (talk) 18:39, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Markedly divergent account of confrontation from credible source

[edit]

The following New York Times account of the interaction between duFresne and Fleming diverges in significant respects from the third paragraph of the section The Murder: nyti.ms/TjkLUT 74.70.200.207 (talk) 03:33, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I added that cite and one other that expand on what happened. --CliffC (talk) 01:03, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Race of perpetrators

[edit]

The race of the perpetrators is irrelevant to the article and its inclusion is an attempt to cast African Americans as violent criminals. This frankly has no place in the encyclopedia and i believe I am more than justified in removing it. The IP editor appears to have a racist agenda to advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Felchueef (talkcontribs) 04:20, 26 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
