who designed the building? does the museum have outreach or education programs? does the museum cost admission? why oak trees? how was the idea for the museum conceived? who were the past chairpersons? what sort of artifacts are at the museum? personal affects, objects from concentration camps? more specifics can be included... i think it is a stub because it does not include this information. More detailed discriptions of the exhibitions could also be beneficial. You're right that there is a lot of relatively basic info missing, but the article is still a bit longer than our normal standards for stubs (see Wikipedia:Stub). Anyway, if you're going to mark something as a stub you should use one of our stub types to increase the likelihood that someone knowledgable on a topic will expand the article.--Pharos 22:38, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Contribution in this article[edit]

My suggestion to editing the page of "Museum of Jewish Heritage" is the following:

           Add information to the History Section, meaning add more details of the events that occurred before the Museum was built. I feel that much of the Museum's planning was not briefly summarized.

           Add some sources since there is barely any good sources, and in the History section nothing that back's up the information listed. Some of the information comes from the Museum's website, it is a little biased, so include other sources besides the website to back it up.

Other than these two I think that the article is well-written. There is nothing that can distract the reader, it is written in a neutral stance, it is revelant (up to date), and the viewpoints aren't neither over-representing nor under-representing the museum.

"...a living memorial..."?[edit]

The first sentence in the lede states that the Museum "...is a living memorial..." What does this mean? How is this history museum any more "living" than any other history museum? It seems to me to be a poetic figure of speech, which is nice, but inappropriate in an encyclopedia. Perhaps the intended meaning can be rephrased to better conform to WP's style standards.
