Unfortunate acronym

[edit]

What an unfortunate acronym. Has this recevied any coverage? (i.e from the association that they plan to continue using it regardless of the more recent meaning) Better to address it rather than having people visit this page with a smirk, or suspecting hoax.Cander0000 (talk) 09:52, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

National Association of Recording MerchandisersMusic Business Association – Association has renamed itself from National Association of Recording Merchandisers (NARM) to Music Business Asociation. WP:UCN states If the name of a person, group, object, or other article topic changes, then more weight should be given to the name used in reliable sources published after the name change than in those before the change. I had a quick look at the sources, and am willing to have a further look. -- Trevj (talk) 11:03, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
