Move to Music of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance

[edit]

It seems that there are lots of other albums, so why not include them and build a Good Article? :) Judgesurreal777 19:18, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Final fantasy tactics advance.jpg

[edit]

Image:Final fantasy tactics advance.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:17, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GA Review

[edit]

This review is transcluded from Talk:Music of the Final Fantasy Tactics series/GA1. The edit link for this section can be used to add comments to the review.

  • "album entitled White: Melodies of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance a selection of musical tracks from the game arranged" - commas needed here... (after the album title, perhaps)
Done
  • Check fair use rationales for ALL images.
Done, that one's a bit embarrassing.
  • Some track listings are referenced, some aren't?
They all are, the ones that don't have a cite next to "Track Listing" have cites in the individual columns of the table- used when multiple sources are used.
  • "with assistance from composers from Basiscape" - repetition (from) could be avoided.
Done
Hmm, not much, I had borrowed the sentence from the FF Tactics article, removed.
  • wlink RPGFan the first time you use it
Done
  • "with Patrick Gann of RPGFan" - you can just use "Gann" the second (and subsequent) times...
Done, though I left it as Patrick Gann, just Gann felt weird.

Please leave me a note when done. Cheers, giggy (:O) 23:58, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All completed. --PresN (talk) 04:55, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This GAN has passed, and this is now a good article! If you found this review helpful, please consider helping out a fellow editor by reviewing another good article nomination. Help and advice on how to do so is available at Wikipedia:Reviewing good articles, and you can ask for the help of a GAN mentor, if you wish.

Final Fantasy Tactics Unreleased Tracks

[edit]

Should this be included on this page? For those who don't know, Final Fantasy Tactics Unreleased Tracks is a collection of tracks that were found and ripped in the Japanese version of Final Fantasy Tactics. It's not an official album, but might be worth noting here. Purkinje90 (talk) 15:32, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes and no- if you can find a reliable source for the "album", then we should throw a line into the FFT album section saying that the tracks that were not included on the official soundtrack album were unofficially released on this "album". --PresN 17:23, 25 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I've done some searching around, and found a track list on last.fm, and a review on RPGamers.net. I'm new to editing wikipedia, so I'm not sure how to tell what is a reliable source.Purkinje90 (talk) 00:32, 29 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good article?

[edit]

How can this article have achieved good article status when the first sentence runs on so long that you need to be an Olympic swimmer to read it without taking breath. On the first line, is it the music that is the spin off, or is it Final Fantasy Tactics that is the spin off? The first sentence is full of ambiguities. This was the case immediately before @Tbhotch: placed the good article template. Did he not read the article before raising its status, or is this what Wikipedia is proud of now? Jodosma (talk) 21:25, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Instead of complaining, why don't you try and fix it? Just being a GA/FA doesn't mean the article needs no further work. Anyway, that stuff didn't really help anything, so I removed it. ~ Dissident93 (talk) 23:27, 26 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
