False content and references

[edit]

Hi WALTHAM2

  • This article was started with a disingenuous reference on 28 March 2009 by you mixing up several topics .
  • This article then and currently cites references without mentioning the page from  : A glossary of the tribes and castes of the Punjab and North-West Frontier Province. Based on the census report for the Punjab .
  • The listing to Shaikh in Ibbetson's volumes appears in Volume 111 page 399 from the set published by Asian Educational Services 1990.
  • None of the content attributed to the book by you is true with regard to the Shaikh as listed in the pages I have provided above .
  • Several Contributions have also been made by Ata_Fida_Aziz who was banned for sockpuppetry
  • Another banned user is WALTHAM1 who has also contributed to simillar articles as Waltham 1 for instance see the Khatril article .

Could you have probably made a mistake ? Are you the same as Waltham 1 ?

The entire article needs to be scrapped and rewritten .

The reference to Mussali or Muslim Shaikh is at page 138 of Volume II of the Glossary. The community were known as Mussali, but are now known as Muslim Shaikh. The second reference makes that clear.
