Dubious[edit]

I find it hard to believe that a family, Myxogastromycetidae, can be divided into an order (Echinosteliales) and another group of higher rank (Physariida). Orders can be divided into families, but not vice versa. --Stemonitis (talk) 21:31, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I get it now. Slime moulds are covered by both codes, and '-idae' here is not a zoological family but a botanical higher taxon. It's all still a bit of a mess, though. --Stemonitis (talk) 07:01, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
