"Ost" means cheese in Norwegian, so is it really necessary to name the article "Nökkelost cheese"? Also, "ö" is not a Norwegian character, it's Swedish one. My proposal is to name the article "Nøkkelost" (it's already explained in the article that it's a cheese). kallemax11:15, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Go right ahead, I agree with your reasoning entirely. When I buy it in Seattle the label normally says "Nøkkelost", leaving the conclusion that it is a cheese to the acumen of the reader. --Haruo04:35, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In Norway it certainly isn't, it's sold in absolutely every proper supermarket and is considered a staple "pålegg". This sentence really needs a clarification. 84.208.204.110 (talk) 03:30, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think this sentence needs removal rather than clarification, as it is subjective and vague and therefore unencyclopedic. Devanatha (talk) 17:18, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
