E-201[edit]

Should E-201 shield be added to the figure in the article along with the M8 & N8 shields in the figure as the E-201 is now signposted on a part of the N8.

Yes; also the "Motorway infobox" needs adjustment to put km before miles as per imos. And as I don't know how to fix the box please feel free to have a go! (Sarah777 (talk) 23:28, 11 December 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Deletion of motorway upgrade information[edit]

I've transferred most of this to the new M8 page. As has been pointed out there, that page is necessary because once the 40 km Cashel to Cullahill scheme opens, most likely in October, the large majority of the route will be M8 motorway. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Asteroid (talk) 00:51, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article scaled back to reflect its lesser importance[edit]

This article is rapidly being superceded by the M8 motorway article. Consequently, I've cut this one back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Asteroid (talkcontribs) 10:55, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cashel-Bypass Picture?[edit]

Could somebody perhaps take a shot of the new Cashel bypass signage? It has been replaced within the last two weeks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trans5999 (talkcontribs) 16:00, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I will at some point. It hasn't all been replaced yet, but the yellow lines are now solid. I'll be out of the country from Monday til September 26, but I'll take a few shots then (Furet). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.203.68.187 (talk) 19:05, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article progress[edit]

This is shaping up to be an excellent article; love the history section. Sarah777 (talk) 02:58, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers Sarah. I enjoyed researching it.Seighean (talk) 10:03, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is no N8 road in Cork any more . The only frqagments left are in Tipperary and Laois —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.147.141.255 (talk) 07:58, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To the editor whose IP address ends in .255 --

The M8 is technically still the N8. I politely and respectfully suggest that you stop making edits to this page at this time for a short while until one of the more regular editors of this page updates it properly. Regards, Seighean (talk) 11:13, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think the Glanmire Road, the original Cork dual-carriagway, will still be the N8?? Sarah777 (talk) 01:17, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
