Neutrality dispute[edit]

@Discospinster: Why is this article's neutrality being disputed? Jarble (talk) 00:33, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Personally, I don't think the article lacks NPOV, but I can see how some readers may feel this article is pro-Nachala. The following edits will probably solve the problem. Stating the previous organizational affiliations of the founder(s) would also be helpful. The quote about "wonderful youth" and "a real inspiration" from Ayelet Shaked should appear later in the article; for such an endorsement to appear at the beginning of the article can be misinterpreted as an "endorsement" of Nachala. The most desirable and helpful second sentence of the article would be about the date of founding of Nachala, the founder(s), and (if known) any organizations Nachala may have drawn members from. That the group has been primarily active (at work) on the West Bank should come next, and not be in the same sentence as the controversy in the larger settler community. Instead, the description of controversy within the larger settler community should appear in a separate paragraph; together with the Ayelet Shaked quotation; it then creates a clear NPOV because Shaked's endorsement is more obviously balanced by the controversy among settlers. Comments from non-settler media are highly desirable and make NPOV unquestionable. Once these edits (and data about the founding) have been made, wait a week or two; if no new reasonable NPOV issues are stated here on the talk page, then any wikipedian can remove the neutrality dispute flag. I'm not a wiki-policy expert, but this is what I have observed on other Wikipedia pages that I have followed. Vagabond nanoda (talk) 21:07, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
