Electorate successor

[edit]

I've fixed the wikilink, but I'm confused about succession to the various Faasaleleaga electorates. There's a list of previous holders at List of members of the Legislative Assembly of Samoa (2016–2021), and of current ones at List of members of the Legislative Assembly of Samoa (2021–2026), but there's been a change in numbering, and not everything seems to be consistent. Is there a good explanation of the numbering change somewhere? --IdiotSavant (talk) 02:10, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this will help, but sources I have come across state that there were two Fa'asaleleaga 1 constituencies during the 16th parliament. They were Fa'asaleleaga 1 East and Fa'asaleleaga 1 West. I assume the electoral commission renamed one of those electorates 'Fa'asaleleaga 5' before the last election. --N Panama 84534 (talk) 23:52, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
