Welcomed "German Gotha"? Per here. FloridaArmy (talk) 13:10, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Potential photos[edit]

One option here. SilverserenC 23:32, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

And another one. SilverserenC 16:07, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also a headshot. SilverserenC 23:15, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And a fourth. SilverserenC 23:08, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And a fifth and I think I'll go with this one. It's the nicest and most directly photogenic. SilverserenC 23:10, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Not a review, just a comment: If I were you, I would make this an image hook. It's up to you, however. Bremps... 23:08, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Thanks for the suggestion, Bremps. Originally, the image used in the article wasn't a public domain one, but someone else added the current PD option, so I've gone ahead and added that to the nomination above. SilverserenC 23:18, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Long enough, new enough. ALT0 short enough, cited, and interesting. No copyright issues found, no neutrality issues found, no maintenance templates found. A simple Google search shows various claims of her death being in the 1960s but nothing in WP:RSs, AGF that it doesn't appear in any. QPQ done and image out of copyright. Good to go.--Launchballer 23:59, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I would love if we could find a proper RS covering her death. But, sadly, it was fairly common for actresses in the early 1900's to just kinda fade into obscurity when they didn't get any further film roles and just weren't ever covered again by the media. SilverserenC 00:03, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have my sympathy, I have a similar issue at Tony Tribe (RSs say he died in 1970 but he can't have done).--Launchballer 00:08, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Apocryphal information[edit]

I found some bits information which could prove useful leads in sources that cannot be considered reliable in any way:

  • "Nancy Nash". operator_99.blogspot.com. 2008-08-30. Retrieved 2024-01-07. Jerry Peters said... Nancy Nash was my dad's niece. Her real name was Maude Miller. She was born in McAllen Texas. She died in Seattle Washington in the early 1960's of cancer. My dad was very sadded by her death. He thought a lot of her and watched her career. He had and we now have movie photos of her. I would love to meet/write any of her relations as I have more information but am seeking more.

Yeah, it's sadly frequently common to find quite a lot of extra, useful information on early 1900's actresses on websites that aren't at all reliable, despite the accuracy of the information being likely. A lot of actresses at the time just had the media coverage drop off suddenly once they weren't in as prominent of roles. SilverserenC 03:50, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
