Nara Unateze Obodo iwe ewe[edit]

This article does not cite any sources. NARA UNATEZE is one of the town in the Nkanuland in Enugu state. It has a population of about ten thousand people. We have seven (7) villages that makes up Nara unateze (Mkpukpu Nara na asaa).

(Note_Isiogbo village in Nara unateze is part of Nara unateze, they have their link in all the Nara communities. They're not different. If you separate them to be different with another village inside Nara. that's to said we are Eight (8) villages.)

Nara unateze has (4) Autonomous Communitio. Namely_ 1⃣ Amofia\Amagu Autonomous communities. 2⃣ Nara Ancient communities. 3⃣ Umuawalagu Autonomous communities. 4⃣Isiogbo Autonomous communities.

We have two wards. I / ll. 🔸Nara Ward 1. Namely_ Amofia, Umuiba, Amagu, Umuokpara Ngene and Umueze Nara village. 🔹Nara ward ll. Namely_ Umunze, Umuawalagu and Isiogbo Nara village.

Nara unateze is an igbo community in Enugu state, the origin of Nara unateze takes the pattern of most of other Igbo communities, many centuries ago, men in this part of the world Wandered from one place to another in search of a suitable place to settle, but that's to be said that it was during those period og wars and also the war of Arochukwu people. Who traded mainly in the human slavery, that's part of the reasons why our Ancestors move early just to wage wars from relocated their captives, Among all the towns surrendered us. We live before their coming because we move early.

Nara unateze as a whole is Mainly known for farming, hunters. Likewise every other town In igbo land, the influence of Western civilization and education is adversely affecting our original main occupations thats why our Ancestors fought against it but they couldn't defeat the source. Meanwhile they was an oath their performed on it. Because with the knowledge then. Education is like another Way of bringing evils to the people in Igbo land, because it was making our children lazy to do their responsibility in the home that's why we banned it with some secrets code in our land. Farming__for which they were still most famous farmers, such as Nwangene in Ihuoma Amofia. although majority of the people are still farmers, We are Travelers, The community for wage employment, trading and other business enterprises in the big cities. We accommodate visitors.

Nara unateze is a land of peace, the beautiful zone with milk and honey. We're lovely people.

The people of Nara are peace-loving and hospitable. A vast majority of the people are farmers. Palm tree and bush mango are the economic trees one will easily see in this part of the state. Nara Unataeze has produced prominent men and women that has done astonishing well for Enugu state and the country Nigeria,


The people of Nara Unateze always gather together especially during festive periods like Christmas and New Year. All the sons and daughters of Nara Unateze Home and Abroad returns home to grace the season. Football matches are hosted in the field situated at the popular Orie Market as regards the celebration.
