10k finish @ Beijing

coming in 1:22 off the gold medal time in the 10k for a 16th-place finish in the Olympics seems more significant than many of the awards listed... I don't know how to include it, however. In particular, how to distinguish global from disabled/paralympic competition results. +sj + 11:40, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Du Toit became the first amputee ever to qualify for the Olympics.....
