Use of italics

[edit]

Are the bits in italics quotes? should they be in quotation marks? I don't inderstand the use of italics employed in this article. FloridaArmy (talk) 00:21, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • That was a running debate that I had with another editor, some time ago. He simply hated "quote marks" and said that the better approach is quoting in line. There is probably a Wikipedia MOS standard, which I am currently unaware of. If you can find it, please let me know, and I will be happy to conform. Gulbenk (talk) 00:43, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
