Sources usually show his birth date as 13 February 1730, but some have the same date in 1729. I was advised to use the 1730 date from the American National Biography. There may be a good reason to list or discuss the ambiguity in the article, but I don't know enough about it to say anything useful. -- econterms (talk) 19:07, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
