Erroneous Comprehension of a Reference

[edit]

Whoever posted that Chatham Asset Management is retaking control of AMI, the subsidiary owner of the National Enquirer, "pending bankruptcy," took some editorial liberties with the article cited. The bankruptcy being discussed is that of McClatchy Newspapers, and not of AMI. Furthermore, there's no mention in the article of how CAM retook control of AMI, after its previous sale to the Hudson Group. So that question actually remains unanswered. But very clearly, this last sentence of this paragraph misstates what is said in the referenced article, and needs to be removed or modified, with an accompanying clarification of how the Chatham Asset Management hedge fund regained control or ownership of AMI and the National Enquirer. further to your note, it appears based on the date of the reference it referred events prior to the sale to Hudson / Cohen. 142.113.212.7 (talk) 03:32, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"World Exclusive"

[edit]

Does anyone have stats on how often the National Enquirer uses "World Exclusive" on its cover? It seems to be rather telling of their veracity when no other publication is privy to a story. BMJ-pdx (talk) 03:26, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
