NFPA is not interested in using Wikipedia for promotional purposes, and we're not certain why the initial posting was created by someone here. We have boiled the content down to what we hope is the most basic and neutral possible. In doing so, we looked at the postings in Wikipedia for other trade associations, and tried to use similar content. Palles64 21:20, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
This page needs work to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. The major contributor seems to be from the organization, and the tone is advertorial. If anyone knowledgeable can clean it up a bit, please do so. moink 01:39, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
I have been involved in NFPA for over a year and have tried to clean up the text to remain as neutral as possible. It looks like the text was just modified from their "About Us" page on their website. --65.30.208.167
