Deletion?[edit]

This article is currently undergoing construction. It is meant to be an informational article for the National Indian Youth Council and is not yet completed. Please give me time before deleting this page

I think this article is off to a great start. It covers the ways in which NIYC participates in direct action very well. I realize this article is a work in progress, so I want to give a few suggestions. The section titled "general" needs to be elaborated on by adding more about the history that led up to NIYC's creation. I intend to help the creator of this page by adding some of this information in the near future. I think it would also be beneficial to add more titles within the "general" section once more information is added. Not true[edit]

I don't know much about the NIYC, but I can tell you that this statement is not physically possible (1963 > 1962):

Publications In 1963, NIYC began publishing a monthly newsletter titled ABC: Americans Before Columbus. This was the first publication of the Red Power movement. The newsletter was one of the leading mechanisms voicing radical Indian thought. By 1962, over 180 tribal councils had subscribed.
