research issues for Muscogee County[edit]

For Muscogee County, in Columbus, Georgia, the old list had two items which do not appear in the new NRIS-based table:

    • Garrett & Sons does not appear as that in the NRIS-based table
    • Robert Winship Woodruff Birthplace does not appear as that in the NRIS-based table. There are three Woodruff houses listed, one of which could be the birthplace of R W W, however.

These could be historic sites that are not NRHP-listed in Muscogee County, or they could have been delisted, or there could be an error of omission or of location in the NRIS system for these. For now, I have just removed them from the article to here. doncram (talk) 07:02, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Walter Hurt Cargill[edit]

I've changed the name for 80001147 from Walter Hurt Cargill to Walter Hurt Cargill House. The missing "house" is probably a transcription error. The property is referred to as Walter Hurt Cargill House in the nomination form and later in the High Uptown Historic District nomination form. Unfortunately, the pdf of the federal register for the original 1980 list is missing the page that the listing would be on. Generic1139 (talk) 06:38, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
