Alvord House[edit]

The Alvord House is included in the Syracuse list, but the house is actually in Salina (Lyncourt specifically). The NY Historic Preservation site (http://www.oprhp.state.ny.us/hpimaging/hp_basic.asp) lists the house as being in Syracuse, but on the Nomination Form itself, Salina and Lyncourt are (correctly) given for the address. So I'm prepared to move this property up to the "Exclusive of Syracuse" part of the list if there are no objections. Crazyale (talk) 02:27, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm...may be one of the many places in the county where the mailing address is Syracuse even though it's in another town (like most of the Town of Onondaga and half the town of Camillus). That would explain the confusion. At any rate, correct away, as far as I'm concerned. Lvklock (talk) 12:37, 19 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Missing sites in Baldwinsville; Are they even on NRHP?[edit]

I've dealt with this in Suffolk County before, but there seems to be three images of two sites listed in Baldwinsville, New York that I can't find. All of them are currently tagged as missing NRHP reference numbers;

Though certainly of a greater historic status than Casa Basso in Westhampton, New York, I see no evidence that the two sites mentioned are even on the NRHP. Is there something about them that I'm missing? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:12, 7 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think you mean "someone else marked them as NR and I can't find any evidence that they are". Is that correct, or if it's wrong, what did you mean? Nyttend (talk) 01:26, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
At first yes. But after checking the history I realized I was the one who marked them as NR, and I don't remember whether I had some evidence I can no longer find, or if I was using them as a temporary category. I'll have to do more checking. If they're not NRHP, I'll just find a New York State historic site related category, and replace it with that. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 03:36, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Since NYS historic marker categories have been added to these, I've removed them from the NRHP categories, given that they don't appear to match any of the small number of Baldwinsville listings. Magic♪piano 14:51, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
