Comments[edit]

From the book, Changing Britain 1850-1979, it says that the NUWSS formed in 1887. Popher 19:22, 29 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Could this be the date that the various suffrage organisations first formed a national body, before the 1888 split? Warofdreams talk 22:53, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is the term Suffragist redirected to a page on the British National Union of Women's Suffrage Society? The term "Suffragist" was used in both the United States and Great Britain. Now links to the term "Suffragist" will have to be deleted from pages about American Suffragists, because this article on "Suffragists" has no relevancy to the American movement.-Woodhull 05:53, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You can solve this by creating an article or a disambiguation page at suffragist. Warofdreams talk 02:51, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That stub doesn't suggest notability. At best this sentence could be merged here. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:32, 7 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Headquarters?[edit]

Did this organization have a headquarters? If so, where was it?--Dthomsen8 (talk) 04:44, 26 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Foundation year[edit]

I query the foundation year - in the article text it is consistently given as 1897 but the poster depicts an acorn that suggests the NUWSS was founded in 1867, 30 years earlier. Those better informed please check this out and harmonise the caption with the text. Is there a typo on that poster?Cloptonson (talk) 09:47, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
