This article makes medical claims (about various methods 'causing' uterine contractions) but cites no evidence at all. Issues have been identified with this article, but the absence of research evidence to back up these claims was not one of them.

Agree. Labor induction is potentially dangerous procedure, and an article on it should have at least the same level of coverage from medical reliable sources as any other medicine-related article. Mikael Häggström (talk) 16:15, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Neither this page nor labor induction are large enough to justify being separate articles, especially in regard to the fact that there is no other actual article linking to this one (see Special:WhatLinksHere/Natural_induction_(labor)), so I considered it better to have its contents merged to labor induction.
