Article name

[edit]

I know that NBC allways referred to him with his middle initial, but that's really not the standard way we name pages around here. There's currently no article at Neal Boyd, so does anyone object to standardizing the name, and leaving a redirect from the current name? - TexasAndroid (talk) 21:32, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the above comment. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.184.207.122 (talk) 05:18, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Generally, use the most common format of a name: if that is with a middle name or an abbreviation, make the Wikipedia article name conform to that format.
See for example John F. Kennedy. Note that his own web site is titled "Neal E. Boyd - The Voice of Missouri" Note also that in newspaper articles in Missouri dating back to 2001 and 2002, long before he got went on the NBC show, he is referred to as "Neil E. Boyd", e.g. [1]. I would keep the article with Neil E. Boyd and make a re-direct to it from Neal Boyd. Voceditenore (talk) 06:52, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the above. I've known Neal my whole life, and he has always gone by Neal E. Boyd. 69.180.225.132 (talk) 13:33, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is Neal doing now?

[edit]

When will his act in Vegas start? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.73.150.85 (talk) 12:52, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

U.S. Sales figure of 6,000 is incorrect

[edit]

This information needs to be corrected, although I don't know what the number should be. But 6,000 is the number of copies his CD sold in Japan on the first day, when released in November 2009. ref: http://mizzoumag.missouri.edu/2010-summer/features/neal-boyd/index.php —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.23.203.33 (talk) 05:49, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
