Burgess on Frankston line extension to Baxter[edit]

Buegess is for Frankston line extension. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.22.50.32 (talk) 08:52, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No he's not. There's already a train line there. What he is in support of is now correctly written in the article, as it was in the source. But it's still really trivial and purely a vote grabber. We really should wait until such things happen before we put them in an article. HiLo48 (talk) 08:58, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Well for the record all editing on Neale Burgess bears no relations to Marcus Bastiaan or Karina Okotel. --110.22.50.32 (talk) 09:01, 23 July 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32--~~[reply]

True that. Who's Karina Okotel? HiLo48 (talk) 09:05, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Burgess also supports the extention of the Frankston line all the way to Stony Point.--110.22.50.32 (talk) 10:37, 15 August 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32--~~[reply]

Lobster Cave Incident[edit]

Burgess held a event which was attended by Frank Lammatina one of the people who attended the Lobster Dinner that Matthew Guy attended as well. 110.22.50.32 (talk) 05:12, 29 July 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32|110.22.50.32 [[1]] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.22.50.32 (talk) 05:12, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

So what? Maybe you meant to put this in the article (with excellent sourcing, no doubt) rather than on the Talk page. HiLo48 (talk) 05:19, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Burgess on plastic bags ban and small business[edit]

When did Burgess join the Liberal Party? Burgess supports the ban on plastic bags he has repeated his stance on it several times with the last month. One of the reasons Burgess supports it is it protect the environment. --110.22.50.32 (talk) 03:47, 17 August 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32--110.22.50.32 (talk) 03:47, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Burgess criticised in May 2018 the Andrews Government over cleaning businesses it is okay to have it in the article as it is sourced and was a very recent matter.[[2]]

Burgess on road near Baxter[edit]

It is okay I add this to the page? [[3]] --110.22.50.32 (talk) 10:46, 19 August 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32--~~[reply]

No. It's local paper trivia. An opposition member writing a letter to a minister is going to achieve precisely nothing. The road might be crap, but the government (VicRoads) will do something about it in their normal maintenance schedule, unless it's a marginal seat. Then it will happen more quickly. This is simply not important enough for the article. And remember, Burgess is completely bound by his own party's policies when it comes to actually getting things done. As an individual member of a big party, his personal views mean very little. Oh, and re-adding that content without consensus is not acceptable behaviour on Wikipedia. HiLo48 (talk) 21:38, 19 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I acknowledge what you say about adding things back once they have been removed from the page in the first place.--110.22.50.32 (talk) 03:52, 20 August 2018 (UTC)10.22.50.32--110.22.50.32 (talk) 03:52, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

2002 election Victoria[edit]

In the 2002 election Burgess ran for the seat of Hastings but Burgess ended up not being elected that time around. He was elected fours later during the 2006 election and has being the Member for Hastings since then.--110.22.50.32 (talk) 02:37, 20 August 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32--~~[reply]

Burgess would of won had the Greens preferences gone to him instead of the Labor party nominee.--110.22.50.32 (talk) 02:38, 20 August 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32--110.22.50.32 (talk) 02:38, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ryan Smith[edit]

Burgess in 2014 supported Environment Minister Ryan Smith after he was accused of swearing at a Oppositon Mp.--110.22.50.32 (talk) 03:41, 20 August 2018 (UTC)110.22.50.32--110.22.50.32 (talk) 03:41, 20 August 2018 (UTC) [[4]][reply]
