The 'near abroad' is a term used ... to describe the Post-Soviet states (mostly where Russian is spoken, except the country where the term is used itself).

Does the parenthesis mean that the term is used mostly where Russian is spoken, or that the term is applied mostly to those territories where Russian is spoken? —Tamfang (talk) 03:47, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
