This article reads like it was written by Nechirvan Barzani himself[edit]

I don't know much about this guy. Maybe he really is a fabulous guy. But this article article reads like a North Korean biography of Kim Il Sung.

Significant neutral PoV issues in this article[edit]

Dear all,

It is clear to me that there are significant issues regarding the neutrality of this article. I would encourage you all to read the section of the article about his time as President of the KRG. It is immensely biased towards him and reads more like a hagiography than a piece of meaningful analysis or even of accurate description. It describes him more as a tribute would, and completely ignores the continuing issues faced by the KRG under the duopoly and, indeed, under the KDP regarding human rights, corruption, state violence, and so on. It is also severely lacking in the KDP's role toward the KDP-PKK conflict that has intensified in the last year + the KDP's co-operation with Turkey under Nechirvan's Presidency.

I highly encourage a Npov notice is put on the article and that the section is either heavily edited or rewritten entirely.

I encourage discussion on this matter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.205.21.39 (talk) 14:50, 3 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Continuity error[edit]

In the infobox, under the part Prime Minister of Kurdistan region, in the term from 2006 to 2009 it's written "Preceded by office established", while he also was in the office from 1999 to 2005.

Also, in the 1999 to 2005 term the name of President is written as Masoud Barzani. But he became the president on the last they of the term. Aminabzz (talk) 15:09, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
