Maintenance tags[edit]

I have removed the maintenance tags the first two articles are secondary. For some reason the editor that placed the tags is misinformed as to the correct use of the tags. Please do not add them back in. reddogsix (talk) 03:42, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The tags are used correctly. Please read Please see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Primary_sources if you have any questions about how maintenance tags work. Per Wikipedia guidelines, 5 of the 6 citations are primary sources, or "original materials that are close to an event, and are often accounts written by people who are directly involved. They offer an insider's view of an event, a period of history, a work of art, a political decision, and so on." The maintenance tags are present for the reasons stated therein. This article relies on references to primary sources (information based solely on subject's words in interview, subject's social networking profile, etc.) Because there is not enough coverage of the subject to cite in which he is not providing the information given, the topic of this article may not meet Wikipedia's general notability guideline. Once again removed the maintenance tags, The NY Magazine and WSJ article are clearly secondary in nature. If you feel the Linkedin reference is inappropriate, feel free to remove. But please stop adding inappropriate maintenance tags - it appears you do not understand them - I would suggest if that is the case please ask an independent editor instead of assuming. Your edits are making it increasingly difficult to WP:AGF. I will also point out that with one more addition of the tags will WP:WAR will apply. reddogsix (talk) 11:55, 22 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
